Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and in-home environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized support and companionship.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and reporting changes in health status.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals and assist with medication administration as needed.
• Observe and document client behavior, progress, and any changes in condition accurately.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, or working with individuals with autism is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility or personal care tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.65 per week
