Process Engineer

The Process Engineer ensures safe, reliable, and efficient site operations while maintaining compliance with IMS, ISO standards, and local regulations. Besides, you will be the site’s operational leader. You are responsible for enhancing system performance, energy efficiency, and uptime, managing product quality and supply reliability, and providing professional services to meet customer needs, driving operational excellence and satisfaction.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Daily Plant Operations

  • Lead shift teams in monitoring plant data, performing routine checks, and managing nitrogen, CDA, and UPOX generators for operational excellence.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve plant anomalies to ensure zero reliability incidents and uninterrupted supply within contractual specifications.
  • Oversee bulk gas inventory management, preventive maintenance, and planned shutdowns while ensuring timely execution of standard operating procedures.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new plants and equipment, addressing unplanned shutdowns as needed.

2. Safety, Quality, Risk, and IMS Management

  • Ensure compliance with HSE’s 12 Life-Saving Rules, 24 Safety Rules, and company quality protocols.
  • Implement proper procedures for managing spills, leaks, emergencies, and material handling, while promoting a safe work environment.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and ensure alignment with IMS standards and local regulations.
  • Oversee project installations to meet all safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

3. Customer Satisfaction

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
  • Proactively address customer needs, prevent complaints, and deliver products that meet contractual specifications.
  • Manage customer expectations by aligning operations with their requirements and providing timely support.

4. Staff Training and Development

  • Participate in planned training to achieve required competency in plant and bulk gas operations.
  • Continuously enhance skills through internal and external training programs.
  • Ensure technicians are properly trained and qualified for all assigned tasks through structured on-the-job training.

Are you a MATCH?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience in industrial process operations or production; experience in a related field is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in supporting project management activities, from planning to execution.
  • Solid understanding of operational functions, technologies, and equipment used within the company.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive in seeking clarification or guidance when faced with uncertainty.
