About the role

Employed as a Parts Preparation Trades Assistant, you will join a dynamic and skilled group that prides itself on teamwork and collaboration.

It is the responsibility of the Parts Preparation Team to make ready parts for the chemical processing line, the paint shop, and for final delivery. Across a day, tasks can range from using decal sets to mask parts for paint or processing in accordance with engineering drawings, the demasking, trimming and touching up of defects on painted parts, part marking, and the preparation of parts for final delivery. It is a dynamic and fast-paced environment; you will always be doing something challenging and engaging.

This is a unique role and extensive training will be provided to the right applicant, but to thrive in this role you require two key attributes: attention to detail and manual dexterity. The Parts Preparation Team is made up of people from all walks of life and from widely varied work histories. While we are interested in what you have done and the skills you bring, we are more invested in your work ethic and potential.

  • Foundation level computer literacy
In addition to the above, the following are highly regarded:
  • Experience reading engineering drawings
  • Previous experience in a factory environment [not essential]
Additional Requirements:
Due to the nature of our work and the requirements of our customers, applicants must meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and/or EAR (Export Administration Regulations) compliance as part of employment eligibility.

Successful applicants will also be required to undergo a current police check and participate in drug and alcohol screening as part of our commitment to safety and security.
