Description:
Our focus on quality and exceeding our customer's needs mean that as a business we are continuously growing. As a result, we are looking for people who work best in a hands-on role, enjoy working as part of a diverse team but have the capacity to also work autonomously. You will manage the day-to-day tasks and ensure the smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The hours are 38 per week compressed over 4 days - Monday to Thursday 12.30am to 10:00am

The Role:
This role will prepare the coordination and portioning, quality, presentation, safety and hygiene of fresh meals to customers, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Prepare ingredients and assemble meals according to specified recipes, ensuring the highest standards of food handling, including presentation, hygiene, safety and quality.
Accurately measure and monitor portioning of products and fresh meals, ensuring the quality of incoming and finished products.
Assembly of food on a production line with repetitive actions and moving parts; running of food to different areas; lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs.
Inspect finished products and meals ensuring they meet quality and hygiene standards.
Ensure adherence to hygiene standards, daily cleaning and weekly deep sanitisation and cleaning of equipment, food work areas and machinery.

About you:

Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast-paced environment
Experience in food production would be highly regarded
Able to work in a cold environment set to 4 degrees, possibility of freezer work
The ability to work within strict food quality standards and guidelines
Good communication skills and both written/verbal
Understand the importance of team work with an energetic and flexible approach
Be reliable and punctual
Must be physically fit, able to move and lift products up to 15kgs
