About the role
Rosebank Engineering is looking for Process Line Workers/Maskers to support our growing Surface Treatment division. We are looking for Process Line Workers/Maskers across day and afternoon shifts. The ideal candidates will be comfortable working with their hands to tape different parts, focused on meeting deadlines and thrive on continuous improvement activities.
As a Process Line Worker/Masker you will perform daily tasks such as, but not limited to:
Support the treatment and paint processes by preparing parts, including cleaning, masking and demasking the parts
Other non-technical tasks supporting the process team staff
Ensure the workplace remains is clear and safe before, during and after production
Complete paint touch up
Use stencils and tape
Use decal packs in customer part masking duties
Complete part marking of customer parts in accordance with customer drawings and techniques
Maintain accurate records of activities completed
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have a professional, friendly, energetic and positive mindset
Have dexterity to work with small parts
Attention to detail
A good work ethic and willingness to learn
Be comfortable following instructions as well as work autonomously
Adept fine motor skills and a high attention to detail
Able to maintain focus for period while performing tasks which require strong dexterity
Foundation level computer literacy
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
Working knowledge of Quantum ERP or other typical Aerospace ERP system is highly advantageous
Additional Requirements:
Due to the nature of our work and the requirements of our customers, all applicants may be required to hold Australian citizenship and need to meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and/or EAR (Export Administration Regulations) compliance as part of employment eligibility.
Successful applicants may also be required to undergo a current police check, obtain a Commonwealth defence security clearance, and participate in random drug and alcohol screening as part of our commitment to safety and security.
