About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Manager with a strategic and commercial mindset to manage procurement for a non-A-brand wholesaler. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products across small European markets such as Greece, Slovakia, Portugal, and the Czech Republic—excluding India and China. This role involves maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, and optimizing inventory in a scarcity-driven market. You will join an experienced procurement team and report to the Head of Purchase. Your focus will be on relationship management, structured buying processes, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing daily procurement activities across 4-5 countries
• Ensuring a lean, efficient, and high-quality supply chain
• Building strong relationships with suppliers—trust and negotiation skills are key
• Navigating legal and regulatory compliance within the European market
• Attending trade fairs and conferences within Europe
• Using ERP systems for mass uploads, digitalization, and automation (Excel-heavy role)
• Working with BIT CRM system & Power BI for insights and reporting
• Achieving gross profit targets based on purchasing budgets
• Managing 800+ product lines, expanding & optimizing portfolio

What We Are Looking For Experience & Skills:

• HBO / MBO+ education level (business, logistics, or related)
• 5+ years experience in procurement / wholesale trading
• Experience in B2B purchasing, supplier negotiations & relationship management
• Strong organizational skills – structured & process-oriented approach
• Commercial mindset but no cold calling (relationship-driven sales)
• Analytical skills – comfortable with KPI-driven procurement
• ERP & Excel proficiency – experience with mass uploads & digital workflows

Personality & Mindset:

• Professional with experience in procurement
• Calm, semi-introverted, but strong in relationship building
• Comfortable with structured processes and data-driven decision-making
• Ability to adapt to a scarcity market (not overstocking inventory)
• No medical background required, but must understand industry context
• Dutch preferred, but open to international profiles (no visa sponsorship)

What We Offer Initial contract of 7 months, 1 month-probation then 1 year contract

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €36.000,00 per year
