Davis SuperValu, Longford is currently recruiting a Produce Assistant to join our fresh foods team. This role focuses on the fruit and vegetable section, ensuring high-quality presentation, freshness, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock, and rotate fresh fruit and vegetables
• Ensure produce displays are attractive, well-organised, and fully stocked
• Monitor product quality and remove any damaged or out-of-date items
• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards
• Assist customers with product queries and provide helpful advice
• Ensure proper storage of fresh produce

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or fresh food handling is an advantage
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, early morning shift including weekends
• Positive attitude and good teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €14.15 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
