We are now seeking a full time Produce Assistant Manager/2IC to join our fantastic team.

Reporting to our Fresh Foods Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day workings of the Produce Department. You'll lead by example, support your teammates to deliver excellence, and ensure our customers enjoy a vibrant and fresh shopping experience every time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a consistently fresh, high-quality product range
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards
• Contribute to financial performance and operational efficiency
• Support excellent service and productivity throughout the department
• Create visually appealing displays that showcase seasonal produce

What Are We Looking For:

• A customer-first mindset and strong results focus
• Great leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• To be physically fit you'll be on your feet all day, moving and regularly lifting heavy crates 15kg or more
• Cope with the seasonal demands of working in a small team
• A keen eye for detail and high presentation standards
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, honest and be a good team player
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including one weekend day
• Tech-savvy with computer systems (SAP experience preferred)
