Product Designer

We’re looking for a Product Designer who can shape, craft, and execute design solutions that drive our mission forward. You’ll work closely with our design, product and engineering teams to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences that help people navigate the world of collective housing development.

Responsibilities

Design Discovery and Shaping

• Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover insights and validate design concepts

• Shape ideas into well-defined pitches and actionable design plans

• Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure alignment on goals and priorities

Product Strategy and Roadmapping

• Develop and articulate a design vision that aligns with product goals

• Prioritise design tasks and build a balanced, impactful design roadmap

• Break down ideas into 6-week cycles to keep projects moving at the right pace

Design Execution and Delivery

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for both web and mobile

• Use the Shape Up methodology to manage and iterate on design projects effectively

• Conduct regular design reviews, gathering and incorporating feedback from stakeholders

Market and Competitor Analysis

• Keep an eye on industry trends and competitor products to spot opportunities for innovation

• Stay up to date with the latest design tools, trends, and best practices

• Leverage data and analytics to refine design decisions and improve user experiences

Experience and Skills

• Experience designing intuitive and visually compelling digital products

• Strong skills in UX/UI design, prototyping, and user research

• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar

• Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineers and product managers

• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down complex challenges into clear design solutions

• Experience with Shape Up methodology or an interest in learning it
