The Impact You'll Make
Drive efficiency. Maximize performance. Shape the future of a global product powerhouse.
At Danfoss, we move the world with energy-efficient technologies—and our Line Components portfolio is right at the heart of that mission. As Product Director for Line Components, you will own one of the largest and most stable product bases in our ACR business. This is where operational excellence, profitability, and disciplined execution truly matter.

The Impact You’ll Make

You will take charge of a well-established, trusted product foundation—and elevate it. Your mission is clear:
optimize, streamline, and drive profitability across a large-scale portfolio that keeps industries running.

This role is all about mastering the details while shaping the bigger picture: ensuring our components are cost-competitive, reliable, and positioned for long-term success.

What’s in It for You

  • A strong, high-volume product portfolio with clear market relevance.
  • A strategic leadership role where your decisions directly influence competitiveness and financial performance.
  • The opportunity to drive cost-down, operational excellence, and lifecycle optimization at scale.
  • A visible, business-critical role with close collaboration across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and R&D.
  • A chance to set the direction and be the voice of a portfolio that powers global HVAC/R applications.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own and drive the strategy for the Line Components product area.
  • Build and execute roadmaps that balance continuous improvement with long-term priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiency, margin improvement, and differentiation.
  • Lead full lifecycle management to ensure the portfolio remains competitive and relevant.
  • Work cross-functionally to secure alignment on priorities and support sound product decisions.
  • Analyze product performance, cost structures, and market trends to guide strategic actions.
  • Represent your portfolio internally with clear, data-driven insights and forward-thinking recommendations.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in product management or a commercial–technical role within industrial products, HVAC/R, mechanical systems, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to portfolio management.
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence, cost-down initiatives, and performance-focused execution.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to translate strategy into clear direction.
  • Confidence in building business cases and supporting investment decisions.
  • A relevant engineering or technical background combined with solid commercial insight.

What You'll Get from Us

  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  • You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
