Product Discovery Manager [Pdd]

[What the role is]
We are looking for a Product Discovery Manager to drive our digital experimentation initiatives. In this role, you will work with product team to design and execute experiments to validate product hypotheses, from initial concept to implementation. You will leverage data analytics and user insights to guide experimental decisions, while working closely with cross-functional teams to transform successful experiments into scalable solutions.

[What you will be working on]

Key Skills and Competencies:

Product Development & Strategy

• Assist in end-to-end digital product development, with focus on experimentation and innovation

• Conduct comprehensive user research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation

• Implement experimental frameworks to validate product hypotheses

• Some experience in business case development

• Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development, and implementation

Analytical and Experimental Design

• Design and implement experiments to validate product hypotheses and explore innovative solutions

• Establish and work with product analyst to track key success metrics for experiment and product performance

• Ability to break down complex challenges into testable hypotheses

• Possess strong analytical mindset and synthesise customer feedback to assess experimental results and optimize performance

Agile Delivery Excellence

• Understand agile methodologies and the nature of iterative development

• Experienced in working within fast-paced, cross-functional teams, and open to negotiation and constructive feedback

• Ability to prioritize experiments based on business impact and feasibility

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Support the development of compelling business cases for experimental initiatives for securing of resources

• Support cross-functional collaboration efforts in product conceptualisation, experimentation and execution

• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectation

• Ability to present experimental ideas and results to diverse internal and external audiences

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting and sharing experimental outcomes

[What we are looking for]

Responsibilities:

• Carry out product experiments to assess proof of concept and proof of value

• Assist the Senior Product Owner on end-to-end experimental product development, from concept testing to implementation, and open to pivoting the experiments to meet user and testing requirements

• Evaluate market trends and user needs to identify opportunities for innovation, keeping an eye on the experimental landscape to observe how developments in career guidance are progressing

• Ability to articulate and present business cases to different stakeholders to justify for project rationale and funding

• Track experiment success metrics to measure OKR outcomes and impact

• Provide regular proactive updates to senior management on experiment outcomes and learnings
