For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Product Leader (m/f/d)

Background:
As a Product Leader Member, you are in the Products & Projects Chapter, which is part of the Instrument Operations Network (ION) within Global Operations. You assume responsibility for all product care activities for the assigned instrument products. In general, as a Product Leader, you coordinate transfers from production sites for instruments, manage the operational part of the introduction of new instrument products (NPIs) and lead the operational product care activities from market launch to phase out.
We are a team of around 40 highly qualified project and product leaders, spread across the four instrument manufacturing sites in Rotkreuz, Mannheim, Ludwigsburg and Tucson. In addition to the in-house produced instrument products, we also support numerous OEM products. In total, our project and product portfolio includes up to 60 different products, which serve all four customer areas.

The perfect candidate
The person should have (project) experience in a complex, interdisciplinary and highly regulated environment as well as leadership and networking skills. Furthermore, they must have very good communication and presentation skills and very good English and German skills.

Main tasks and areas of responsibility:
* Initiation of product care projects and activities, including project management and planning
* Leading the product care budget planning and coordination process, including budget monitoring
* Responsible for the continuous risk management process and updating the risk management file during the post-launch phase until the end of the product life cycle
* Coordination of all activities related to the blocking of products according to the specifications
* Initiation of TCO optimizations (Total Cost of Ownership) and SMC optimizations (Standard Manufacturing Costs) for the products in close cooperation with various functions such as the production line, technical support, logistics support, strategic procurement, global customer support and R&D
* Implementation of the CAPA process (Corrective and Preventive Actions) according to the specifications
* Implementation of the change management process according to the specifications
* Implementation of DfX (Design for X) with a focus on quality, manufacturability, testability, costs and transportability in the products within the given framework
* Leading New Product Introduction and Product Transfer projects within the Instrumentation Network (ION)
* Setting up interdisciplinary, global project teams.

Must Haves:
* Min. completed vocational training with further technical training or a higher academic degree (e.g. Master, engineer)
* Good knowledge of engineering (hardware, software, materials science) or laboratory diagnostics
* Min. 3 years of experience in a relevant position (product-related such as Product Lead position)
* Good knowledge of Roche processes useful: product development process, change and configuration management, supplier management and audits
* Leadership and networking skills. Courage and assertiveness to question and optimize working methods and processes
* Experience working in a matrix organization and at the operational level as well as experience working in a complex interdisciplinary and highly regulated environment
* Very good communication and presentation skills; sensitivity to different corporate cultures and good English and German skills at a business level; good negotiation skills
* Project management certificate (eg PMP from PMI, IPMA Level A, B or C) an advantage
* Flexibility for travel
* Conceptual thinking and willingness to work at an operational level
