Job Overview:
As the Product Manager for DIS and BIO, you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial success of Straumann’s innovative products within the Korean dental market. This position entails developing and implementing downstream marketing strategies to optimize product adoption, market share, and growth throughout the product lifecycle. The role requires strategic planning, market analysis, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Product Launch: Collaborate with global headquarters (HQ), Regulatory Affairs (RA), Logistics, Customer Service (CS), and Sales organization to ensure the successful introduction of new products in compliance with industry standards
- Product Strategy: Develop and implement the product roadmap for dental implants and biomaterials, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, analyze the competitive landscape, and identify emerging trends in dental implants and biomaterials
- Marketing and Sales Support: Create marketing strategies, promotional materials, and training programs to support the sales organization and ensure effective product launches
- Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dentists, clinicians, dental hygienist, lab technicians and distributors, to gather insights and drive product adoption
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance, analyze market share, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- A minimum of 7 years of cumulative professional experience in marketing within the medical device industry is preferred
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in product management is required
- Experience in the dental business, particularly in dental implants, is an advantage
- Must have multinational mindset with fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- High proficiency in standard office software tools
- Demonstrates integrity, commitment, and high ethical standards
