Our customer-first mindset focuses on developing products that encourage loyalty and repeat business from our travelers and partners. We partner closely with teams across Expedia Group to achieve growth and results for our customers and company.
Expedia Group is seeking a high-performing Product Manager III to lead our Maps product and platform, a critical experience that helps travelers answer essential questions about their trip. This role is pivotal in shaping innovative travel products that align with strategic business objectives and satisfy customer needs across our three flagship brands: Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo.
You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams—including engineering, design, analytics, and partner product teams—to ensure our Maps experiences are intuitive, scalable, and at the forefront of the travel industry. In this role, you will:
Own and scale the Maps product across multiple brands and platforms (web, iOS, Android).
Drive product strategy and roadmap, balancing long-term vision with short-term execution.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and analytics teams to deliver high-impact features.
Prioritize effectively across multiple backlogs and stakeholder needs.
Leverage data and customer insights to inform decisions and measure success.
Integrate AI/ML capabilities to enhance traveler experiences and personalization.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Trips and other product verticals.
Ensure technical excellence and scalability across front-end and platform components.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of product experience with a bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience with a master's degree or equivalent related professional experience.
Proven experience as a Product Manager in a complex, multi-platform environment with the ability to prioritize effectively across multiple backlogs (e.g., web, iOS, Android, backend).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, analytics, and program management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or fluency in working with Google Maps SDKs and APIs.
Prior experience in Maps-related products or travel technology
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application in consumer-facing products.
Experience working in a platform and front-end product environment.
Background in scaling products across multiple brands or business lines.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
