E-invoicing is an essential component of Europe's economic framework, and Maventa is at the forefront as the leading E-invoice operator in the Nordics. We aim to extend our reach to become the leading provider for SMB companies across Europe. Maventa is part of the Visma Group, Europe’s biggest privately owned software company with over €2.5 billion in revenues and 15,000 employees. Maventa with a dedicated team of 40 people will reach about € 10M in revenues this year.
We are now looking for an interim Product Manager to join Maventa. The role is intended to cover a maternity leave period of our Product Manager, the duration which will be 12 months minimum, with the potential to continue based on business needs and performance.
The role comprises product leadership and go-to-market strategy. You ensure we have the right activities to drive our product vision forward, and that the product fits the markets we are targeting. You will be a key member in the management team and report to the Managing Director of Maventa. You will work closely with our product team consisting of a Service Owner and Product Owners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy & the product roadmap
Set & review product goals, targets and KPIs
Engage with our customers and prospects to find out their needs and gather feedback to optimize product-market fit
Use analytics to discover trends, generate insights, and adjust strategies as needed
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and feature gaps to close
Solving hard problems and deciding on prioritization in accordance with our business targets
Contributing to pricing, business plans, unique selling points, marketing content & positioning of the product
Keep track of E-invoicing and related legislation in the EU
Participate in the selection and evaluation of 3rd party products and services that will be distributed together with our products/services
Create and contribute into business cases for investments
Communication with internal and external stakeholders
Cross-functional collaboration with R&D, sales, marketing and support
- The Product Manager’s key responsibility in the management team is to provide structured and reliable information & KPIs about product usage, plans, milestones, priorities, progress, risks, dependencies regarding the product, and to participate in decision-making.
What we expect from you
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
3+ years of experience in Product Management or in a similar product related role
Capacity to understand the big picture of the market, industry and customer needs
Customer centric thinking, you are a visionary who gets customers’ problems solved
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Driven “can do” mentality, you take action proactively
Team player character as we’re all in this together
Familiarity with E-invoicing and SaaS is considered an advantage
Ability to travel, mainly within Europe, to industry events and meeting customers approx. 2-5 times a year
You are fluent in english, both spoken and written

The salary range in this position is estimated to be 5000-6000 € per month, depending on your experience and background. The position is a fixed term for 12 months, starting in fall 2025, with possibility to continue based on business needs and performance. The recruitment process includes two interviews, with a third interview possible in case we have very equal candidates.
We work in a hybrid setting and have an office in Helsinki (Tripla). Working from other remote locations in Finland, such as Tampere or Lappeenranta, is negotiable. Currently we are unable to offer relocation support.
