Summary of the role:

In order to continue to deliver high quality features, we are looking for a Product Owner to join the System-D team based in Nice and working in a full Agile (SAFe) environment.

The Product Owner is responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the team backlog while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team. As Product Owner, you will promote and support DevOps model: driving the vision for the organization, by designing tools and frameworks.

This role has tight relationships not only with the Developers community, but also with our SRE teams and the Black train.

The candidate will join the Cloud For Orchestration Engines team (COE). This team is composed of transversal people having expertise in several technical domains, such as cloud technologies, database, automation, continuous integration and improvement of engineering experience.

Your Main Responsibilities:

As a Product Owner, you will have to drive the team by drawing the vision of the future of the E-retail platform with its migration to Azure Cloud and cost optimization via FinOps for a smooth sunset of the application by 2028. Having an overall functional and technical understanding of the different blocks and flows in the organization, you will work with different type of stakeholders (Epic Owners, developers, other POs, architects, experts, Business Owners, Product managers) on scoping and PI preparation.

  • Elaborate and explicitly communicate over products goal and vision

  • Create and clearly communicate the backlog items

  • Validate the stories once they are delivered

  • Manage backlog and ensure stories are ordered by priority

  • Help prepare PI Planning event

  • Animate discussions alongside team's stakeholders during Program Increment Planning

  • Participate and animate discussions with other teams and/or customers to gather feedbacks.

About the Ideal Candidate:

Previous experiences

  • A previous experience as Product Owner and coordination / project management is a plus

  • Experience of Agile/Scrum methods is required, experience within SAFe organization (or similar) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills with different type of stakeholders

  • Customer focus

  • Active listening

  • Ability to take a step back and explain rationales behind prioritization choices

  • Ability to question and/or push back when need be.


Qualification

  • University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
