Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Product Owner /Product Manager with 5 to8 years of experience. Experience in the eCommerce domain is mandatory, and exposure to domains such as marketplace,D2C,retail,fashion.
The ideal candidate work closely with business stake holders, engineering teams, and UX designers to define product vision, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality digital products across web and mobile platforms. Exposure to AI/Generative AI concepts is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog/roadmap for multiple product platforms (web, mobile app, and backend systems), ensuring priorities align with business goals.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria across e-commerce journeys such as product discovery, search, cart, checkout, payments, order management, returns, refunds, and loyalty.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, UI/UX, Marketing, Operations, Logistics, Customer Support, and Business stakeholders.

• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and product demos in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Define product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of features that improve conversion, retention, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

• Monitor product performance using KPIs (conversion rate, cart abandonment, AOV, CAC, retention, CLV) and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable product solutions across domains such as marketplace, D2C, retail, , fashion,.

• Manage integrations with payment gateways, ERP/POS, CRM, inventory management, delivery partners, marketing tools, and analytics platforms.

• Conduct competitor research and market analysis to identify product gaps and new opportunities.

• Lead UAT, product launches, adoption tracking, and continuous improvement after release.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Analyst, or similar role.

• Mandatory hands-on experience in the eCommerce domain, with exposure to one or more related domains such as marketplace, D2C, retail tech, , fashion, or

• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, workflows, and customer journeys, including catalogue, cart, checkout, payments, and order management.

• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.

• Expertise in creating PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining product backlogs.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/Generative AI use cases such as chatbots, recommendation engines, intelligent search, personalization, or workflow automation

• Experience working with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, custom e-commerce platforms, marketplace platforms, or mobile commerce apps.

• Familiarity with POS, ERP, CRM, loyalty systems, payment gateways, or delivery aggregator integrations.

• Experience with A/B testing, personalization, or recommendation engines.

• Prior experience scaling a product from early stage to growth stage.

• Experience working in a fast-paced product organization across multiple e-commerce sub-domains (marketplace, D2C, retail, fashion, electronics, etc.).
