Description:
About the opportunity..

As a Product Owner reporting to the Senior Product Manager , you will be the linchpin that connects customer needs, business goals, and the development team. This is a role where your deep expertise will directly shape our industry-leading HR solutions.

As a Product Owner, you'll develop the most in-depth understanding of business rules and functional design among the product team roles. You'll work closely with the Product Manager, Product Designer, and Developers to understand customer needs and translate these into clear requirements for the development team. HR subject matter expertise would be a nice addition but not essential in ensuring our solutions meet real-world HR needs.

Your Impactful Responsibilities:
  • Own the Backlog: Manage the refinement and ensure a sprint-ready backlog , writing precise descriptions and user stories with crystal-clear acceptance criteria.
  • Drive Agile Delivery: Act as a core member of an agile team , participating in all Scrum ceremonies and facilitating estimation sessions with developers.
  • Uncover Deep Insights: Develop a profound understanding of customer and business needs to drive robust requirements. Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to refine requirements and measure product outcomes.
  • Facilitate and Collaborate: Work with the Designer and Product Manager to model business processes, dependencies, and user journeys. Lead requirement and design discussions with stakeholders across Design, Product, and Architecture.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Support developers with continuous feedback , perform acceptance and regression testing , and ensure compliance with ELMO’s information security privacy policies.
  • Be the Problem Solver: Identify and proactively manage impediments, risks, and issues , while performing defect triage and early diagnosis.
Skills and Experiences:
The Essentials You'll Bring:
  • Must have the ability to work in an agile team.
  • Experience in Human Resources is critical to understanding our domain.
  • Ideally, experience writing user stories.
  • Strong communication skills and well-written documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence in highlighting issues and suggesting solutions.
