HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site mentioned above

We’re looking for a multifaceted and experienced Product Owner to join our Retention Engagement team (Mortgages) in the Home Platforms to play a pivotal role in shaping our future. If you consistently analyze market trends and are passionate about solving customer problems, we’d love to hear from you!
The Retention Engagement team (Mortgages) sits within the Homes Platform’s Direct & Retention Lab in the Homes business unit. We’re a brand-new lab that brings product and platform delivery together with big ambitions for our customers and our business.
We collectively own a mortgage book of over £300bn, supporting 2.5m customers to buy their homes, which is the biggest portfolio in the UK.
The team that you’ll lead has 3 core goals:
  • Brilliant Basics: Steadfast delivery focus on setting customers up for success, growing digital capabilities, embedding brilliant human and digital connection
  • Engage: Compelling reasons for great interactions through proactive digital comms, personalised home insights and discovery tools. Own and develop strategies to leverage tools such as the new Homes Space within the new Mobile App and our Home Ecosystem
  • Enrich: Accelerate homes ecosystem propositions working across LBG and with FinTech partners
We're accountable for the definition and delivery of strategic priorities for Homes existing customers, improving commercial performance through building customer understanding, and have both a keen eye for detail and the ability to see big picture solutions.
What you'll need
  • You're experienced in working in an agile delivery environment at scale
  • Experience in delivery of technology change across software and infrastructure.
  • Providing input into overall product vision and product roadmap. prioritises, refines, and leads product backlog.
  • Demonstrate working with technical and cross-functional teams to build a service at scale
  • Adept at immersing into a product business area including third-party market trends to bring industry-leading insight to the organisation
  • Strong business and commercial skills – you’ve a drive to deliver better, faster and cheaper and influence successfully to prioritise demand across the group
  • Strong influencer; able to successfully manage key partners, prioritise and rationalise the right set of business problems
Desirable
  • Have been accountable for product change governance and Business Readiness activities (e.g., training and comms, testing and readiness for implementation) for your respective features, journeys, or technology components.
  • Implement development frameworks for their area, coach, and mentor others in the organisation.
  • Experience in overall ownership of a single product which contains 1-2 features, journeys, or technology components
