We are looking for a Product Specialist at Hitachi Energy, Transformers business in Vaasa, Finland.

The opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for the project-specific engineering and electrical design of special transformers and reactors. You will be part of the tender and order delivery process of the most complex and demanding transformer and reactor designs that the industry has to offer. How You'll Make an Impact

• Deliver economical, electrically and mechanically sound, and optimized electrical design of transformers and reactors.
• Provide electrical designs for tenders and final electrical designs for production.

Your background

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering with relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering, manufacturing, and materials technology.
• Able to work systematically and remain calm under pressure.
• Curious, confident, ambitious, and self-motivated; effective in cross-functional teams.
• On a more personal level we hope you can work systematically and are able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written Finnish and English; other languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering and electromagnetic simulation tools is advantageous.
• Comfortable working with people from varied backgrounds and skillsets.
