About the Role:
We are seeking for individuals experienced in Production and Maintenance Management to lead our manufacturing and maintenance operations at our Sydney site.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing production operations while driving equipment reliability, product quality, and on-time delivery. You'll lead production and maintenance teams, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and play an important role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Lead, coach, and develop production and maintenance teams.
  • Drive a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture across the site.
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved.
  • Manage preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive productivity improvements, waste reduction, and process optimisation.
  • Oversee workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage maintenance resources, contractors, spare parts, and asset reliability programs.
Skills and Experiences:
What You'll Bring to the Role:
  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing both production and maintenance functions.
  • Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Operations-related tertiary qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, maintenance strategies, and operational excellence.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and TPM methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, production planning, and operational KPIs.
  • Experience within HVAC, refrigeration, sheet metal, or a related manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
