Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Production Assistant to support daily operations in our screen printing, embroidery, and DTF production facility. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and eager to learn the technical aspects of garment and promotional product decoration.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication & Support for Sales Reps

• Handle a high volume of inbound questions from reps regarding feasibility, pricing, timing, and capabilities.
• Provide real-time answers or route inquiries efficiently to the right departments.
• Act as a central knowledge hub across departments.

2. Scheduling & Labor Management

• Create and maintain a schedule across all departments to ensure all critical due dates are met.
• Strategically balance labor hours to minimize payroll while maximizing efficiency.
• Forecast needs for overtime or labor cuts based on workload, deadlines, and order volume.
• Coordinate with department heads to align staffing and workflow.

3. Art File Datalogging

• Maintain accurate and timely digital logs of all art files.
• Implement zero-error workflows — a single mistake can be costly.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in screen printing, embroidery, or DTF production is a plus (but not required)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Work Schedule:

• Standard hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Flexibility required: Hours may fluctuate based on production demand or rush orders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
