We are looking for a reliable individual as Production & Kitchen Assistant to join our team of chocolatiers and candy makers at our candy kitchen in Manchester NH. Suitable candidates have experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and are eager to learn all aspects of candy making. This is a full-time position that is eligible for health insurance, paid time off, and profit-sharing contributions.
If you have the right attitude, work ethic, and a passion for delicious chocolate, we will be happy to train you! You will work closely with our team of experienced Chocolatiers who will guide you and preside over quality control. While you will have the chance to learn our business, you must be willing to take responsibility for the cleanliness and quality of your work. You must be able to follow directions and be a good communicator.

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Molding, dipping and enrobing of chocolate and confectionery items
- Helping with cooking, cutting, funneling, and other candy making activities as needed
- Packing, bagging and labeling of all products
- Restocking and organizing of candy supplies and packing material
- Working quickly and efficiently, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Upholding product quality and professional workplace standards at all time
- Helping out in retail store and customer service as needed
- Conducting classes and tours as needed
- Assist with deliveries to various wholesale customers and other retail locations.
- Taking care of daily and weekly cleaning duties
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time
Required Qualifications
- Motivated and reliable individual with foodservice experience preferred
- Dependable team player who likes to wear many hats in a small food production environment
- Self-Driven and goal-oriented, with a passion for achieving results and continuous improvement
- Able to work at fast pace and to follow directions
- Used to work with urgency and attention to detail
- Uphold standards of personal and workplace cleanliness
- Able to receive constructive criticism and strive to improve areas of weakness
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and be on your feet all day
- Possess a valid driver’s license; preferred but not required
- Must love candy and be willing to taste samples frequently for quality control purposes
Hours and Shift Expectations (based on full-time employment)
- Must be flexible with weekly work schedule; depending on time of the season, it can vary anywhere between 32 and 60+ hours per week
- Must be able to work a significant amount of overtime during candy holidays (weeks leading to Christmas, Valentines, and Easter), including weekends
- Due to the nature of our business, leave requests for the weeks leading to major candy holidays

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
