Description
Patritti is looking for a Machine Operator who can utilise their experience operating either a filler or labeller or both on a beverage manufacturing line. Depending on Operational requirements, there is also the possibility of working on the line with repetitive manual handling so the person must be physically able to handle up to 18kg cartons. The role is initially a casual position working weekdays only but has the potential to be a full time role.
The Machine Operator role is required to report to the Operations and Production Supervisor.
Personal Qualities & Aptitude
- Strong commitment to Work Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality
- Ability to follow procedures and work to improve internal processes
- Ability to prioritise tasks within the scope of the role
- Have a good work ethic and a good attention to detail
- Must be fit and able to manually lift 18kg cartons
- A mechanical aptitude would be desirable
Skills and Experience
- Ideally have experience operating bottle fillers and labellers within a FMCG environment preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to carry out QA tasks and record the results
- A Forklift licence would be desirable
