The Opportunity
In line with our continued growth, we’re seeking a hands-on, solutions-focused Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations within our high-energy CPI Manufacturing and Fabrication team based in Wingfield
In this senior role, you'll oversee a skilled team of panel builders, leading hands, and support staff—ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and on time, all while maintaining a high standard of quality. You'll play a key role in keeping complex infrastructure projects on track, managing shifting priorities, and driving team performance.
Skills and Experiences:
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate workshop operations to deliver high-quality electrical panels
- Manage production schedules and align output with project timelines and requirements
- Oversee procurement activities and ensure materials are available when needed
- Collaborate with internal teams on tender reviews, planning, and project delivery
- Monitor job progress, track costs, and provide regular performance reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, safety, and operational effectiveness
- Support recruitment, training, and development of production team members
- Degree or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience in production, project, or site management—ideally in electrical manufacturing, HV infrastructure, or construction
- Strong knowledge of panel builds, switchboards, or industrial electrical systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage workshop teams
- Confident managing multiple projects with tight timelines and evolving scopes
- Commercially aware, with an ability to balance delivery performance and cost control
- Practical, calm under pressure, and highly effective at solving problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across departments and stakeholders
