We are currently looking for a candidate who enjoys creating products, hands on activities and forward thinking engagement. We want someone who takes pride in their work and cares about our customers.
The role will involve processing insulated glass units ensuring the final product is to the specific requirements of our customers, and at a high quality standard.
- Experience in fabrication and assembly of material products is essential.
To achieve high quality standard's, you will need to be consistent, strive to get it right first time, and meet our customers needs.
- You must be able to adhere to quality procedures, have a pro-active and forward thinking approach, and a meticulous eye for detail.

Communication and collaboration is key in ensuring transparency, and that the right message is received by the relevant persons.
- We need a team player who is also able to take initiative, and communicate effectively with their colleagues.
The role consists of physical activities and standing for long periods. Following manual handling training is essential as well as rotating between tasks.
- Do you feel you are able to meet the physical demands of the role, lifting glass regularly and asking for assistance with larger and heavier pieces?
Responsibilities
- Using various pieces of equipment whilst following Health & Safety guidelines
- Inform management of any issues that may cause a delay in meeting deadlines at the earliest possible opportunity
- Quality check the glass to ensure no damage has occurred during production
- Check the glass against the works order document, label and drawings. Inform management of any ambiguities before starting work
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy, report any Health & Safety matters to management, e.g. obstructions and hazards
Pay: Depending on years experience/skills.
