We are hiring Production Operatives for our Horizontal Paint Line - Shift Work - Permanent Nights
Architectural & Metal Systems Ltd. is Ireland’s only independently owned manufacturer of extruded aluminium profiles. We specialise in aluminium extrusion, powder coated aluminium and sheet metal fabrication as wells as providing many other services from our vast 400,000 sq. ft. facility. AMS also supply a wide range of thermally efficient aluminium windows, door, and other commercial systems to various industries globally. The company’s business divisions include standard engineering products, architectural glazing systems, curtain walling architectural paint finishes, anodising and a bespoke aluminium design & extrusions service.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule Availability

• 11-hour shifts
• 4 day week
• 3 days at 10.30 hours (19:00 - 06:00) and 1 day at 6hours (19:00 - 01:00)
• Overtime available on additional days (Subject to availability - not guaranteed)
• Monday - Thursday
• NOTE: Day Shift - Monday- Friday is required for training for 1-2 weeks depending.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience within the Industrial sector desirable (Not Essential)
• Hard working with a can-do attitude
• Good eye for quality
• Production Line experience desirable (Not Essential)
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare metal orders for the pre-treatment process.
• Load stainless steel baskets with Aluminium profiles, sheets or flashings
• Check for quality issues
• Powder coating pre-treated metal to order ( automated )
• Loading & unloading of material
• Working to targets individually or with a team
• Machine & hand tool operation
• Working in an industrial environment
• Liaising with the Manager and other team members as well as other department members

Pay: €19.50-€20.20 per hour
