We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess a strong understanding of various production processes. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring quality control, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production line.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis, working from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality production processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring precision and safety standards are met, and supporting the overall efficiency of our production line. Your expertise in mechanical systems, tooling, and manufacturing techniques will be vital in delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Job description:

Duties

• Operate and monitor production equipment.
• Lifts materials manually or using forklift to secure in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.
• Forklift inspection before every shift.
• Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation.
• Inspects and sizes products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
• Replaces worn machine accessories, using hand tools.
• Tends machine and equipment other than crushing/grinding equipment.
• Must be able to manually load 50 lbs. onto pallets.
• Record and keep accurate records for all production at end of each shift (production report- detailing the day)
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certified is preferred or willingly to be trained.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of dependable and punctual attendance.
