Qualifications and Experience Levels:

· Experience in a manufacturing / factory environment is essential

· Be willing to "get your hands dirty" as this area prepares products ready for re-manufacture.

· Experience of working to production targets is desirable

About the Role:

Working to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations and requirements, optimising efficiency and maintaining operational excellence. Perform many operations within the process with some supervision.

After continued increase in demand, our Operations Team is expanding and on the lookout for more Production Operators to join our team. You will be primarily working in our Preparation Team and reporting to the Area Lead. This area focuses on product stripping (of used components), shotblasting, washing (internal and external) and wire brushing to specified standards.

This role would suit an individual who is familiar with production environments, enjoys a challenge and who thrives working in a busy and proactive organisation. So, if the idea of working in a challenging and fast paced role sounds perfect for you, we have that role available.

If that isn’t enough, following a busy week at work our team enjoy the benefit of finishing early on a Friday!

Key Responsibilities:

· Preparing products for assembly processes

· Operate various product cleaning machines (hot washes), shotblasting and
surface preparation processes

· Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks

· Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery

· Report equipment faults to Area Leader

· Build up component kits ready for our Assembly processes

· Store goods appropriately

· Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £22,718.00 per year
