Introduction:
Civilmart is an Australian owned national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local governments, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation, the plumbing, and drainage market. We are renowned for being one of the largest producers of precast concrete in Australia! With our operations now expanding across QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA across 24 different sites!
Civilmart – Shepparton Pipes are seeking Production Operators on an ongoing full-time basis for the following shifts:
- 2x Day Shift
- 1x Afternoon Shift
The Production Operator plays an important role in the day-to-day manufacture of Civilmart’s concrete products, including large pipes and box culverts. This role involves working as part of the production team to operate machinery such as the Cage Making Machine, prepare moulds, pour and finish concrete, and carry out general production and housekeeping tasks.
You will be required to perform these and other duties as assigned, in line with your skills, training, and experience:

Follow Civilmart’s inventory procedures and accurately track materials and components.
•
Operate and maintain MBK cage-making machines, wire straighteners, and reinforcing equipment.
•
Assist with mould assembly, stripping, cleaning, and preparation for production.
•
Render and finish concrete products using appropriate hand tools.
•
Operate and maintain forklifts and other mobile equipment safely.
•
Carry out minor repairs to products, moulds, and tools under supervision.
•
Work flexibly across the production line and support other operators as needed.
•
Use hand and power tools safely and comply with all PPE requirements.
•
Perform basic quality checks on your work and, when required, verify others’ work.
•
Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
•
Understand basic product plans, specifications, and workflow processes.
•
Assist with training new or less experienced employees.
•
Complete basic inventory tasks and maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas.
•
Participate in production activities and perform additional duties as directed.
Skills and Experiences:
Skills, qualifications, and experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in Production and/or construction preferred
- Forklift licence (desired, not mandatory)
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Confident using a range of hand and power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude for operating, cleaning, and maintaining machinery.
- Attention to detail to spot defects and meet specifications.
- Effective communication with supervisors and team members.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Able to work safely and follow all WHS procedures.
- Flexible across different production areas to meet targets.
- Licensed and able to operate a forklift safely.
- Must hold valid working rights in Australia.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including Drug and Alcohol screening.
