TMR Customs designs and manufactures high-quality fabrication tools, off-road parts, and garage organizers used by fabricators, racers, and enthusiasts across North America. We’re a fast-growing, family-owned company built by people who love to build.
We take pride in our 98% same-day fill rate, unmatched product quality, and passion for motorsports. Now, we’re looking for a hands-on leader who can help us take production efficiency and team development to the next level.
About the Role
As TMR’s Production & Process Improvement Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind everything that happens on our shop floor—from machining to packaging and shipping.
You’ll analyze how we build, pack, and ship every product, then design and implement smarter systems to increase throughput, consistency, and safety. You’ll define best practices, develop training programs, and help build a culture of continuous improvement that motivates and empowers our team.
This is a hands-on leadership role—you won’t be sitting in an office making charts. You’ll be on the floor, collaborating with the team, solving problems, and turning great ideas into daily habits.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily production, packaging, and fulfillment operations.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to boost productivity.
- Develop and document SOPs for every major process.
- Train and mentor production staff to maintain consistency and quality.
- Implement Lean/5S practices to improve workflow and reduce waste.
- Work with ownership to forecast capacity, set priorities, and plan for growth.
- Track production metrics and report on throughput, quality, and efficiency.
- Foster a strong, positive culture where people take pride in doing their best work.
What You Bring
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production leadership role.
- Proven success in process improvement, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of shop-floor operations (machining, laser cutting, coatings and paint, assembly, etc.).
- Experience creating and implementing training programs and SOPs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills—you know how to motivate people and earn respect.
- Comfortable balancing short-term results with long-term process improvement.
- Bonus points for experience in fabrication tools, motorsports, or small-batch manufacturing.
Compensation & Perks
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Opportunity to shape the next chapter of a growing Canadian manufacturing brand.
- Work with a passionate, tight-knit team that builds cool stuff every day.
Ready to Lead the Charge?
If you’re a hands-on problem solver who loves making systems run smoother and people work smarter, we want to meet you.
Apply now with your resume and a short note telling us one process improvement you’ve led that made a measurable impact.
