Position Description: The Production & Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the movement of products into the facility, and into production, as well as the movement of products from production to shipping, and finally, out the door. This role is that of a working manager - Responsible to oversee our Shipping Lead, and our Receiving lead, while also stocking our product shelves and prioritizing what products move into production based on customer orders and stocking needs.

• Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and other into daily activities. Attends required safety training.
• Consistently maintains acceptable level of productivity by ensuring all duties are fulfilled daily.
• Requires punctual and regular attendance. Time away from work is approved and taken in accordance with established policies.
• Active participant in any scheduled meetings/huddles.
• Communicative about any issues that arise; team plater attitude.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

• ‘Quarterback’ the production process each day.
• Review reports showing what customer order needs are
• Review stock sizes we are low on (not up to target stock)
• Use this information to send the appropriate battery sizes into the charge room
• Oversee receiving (we have one employee in the role) – ensure all products received into the facility are done so in a timely manner, and properly tagged with an identifier.
• Oversee shipping (we have one employee in the role) – responsible to print the shipping paperwork (BOL’s and Packing Slips) to outbound shipments, while ensuring the shipping team gets the orders out the door. Includes the booking of LTL freight carriers using our online freight tools.
• Responsible to enter tracking information on all shipped orders once they have shipped; this kicks off our invoicing process each day.
• Ensure shipping & receiving area employees keep their areas clean daily. Assist as able.
• Ensure Stocking in completed, and ensure rack Spaces always utilized; If batteries are stocked on the floor, then rack utilization should be over 90%.
• Lock up production facility daily (@ 4:35pm)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
