Job Role: Production Manager – PCP (Supply Chain)

Position: Production Manager – PCP
Department: Supply Chain / Operations
Reports To: Head of Operations / Director

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Control
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in line with customer orders and delivery deadlines.
• Allocate work to different departments/units (casting, filing, setting, polishing, plating, QC, etc.) based on capacity.
• Ensure smooth workflow between departments to minimize bottlenecks.
• Material & Resource Planning
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials, consumables, and tools are available on time.
• Plan manpower deployment and overtime as per production load.
• Monitoring & Reporting
• Track daily production progress against targets and highlight variances.
• Prepare MIS reports for management on production efficiency, delays, and utilization.
• Identify shortage lines and work on corrective actions.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure that every stage of production meets the company’s quality standards.
• Work closely with QC to reduce rejection and rework.
• Coordination with Supply Chain
• Liaise with logistics, warehouse, and dispatch teams to align production with delivery schedules.
• Ensure on-time order fulfillment for domestic and export clients.
• Team Leadership
• Supervise supervisors/foremen across different production stages.
• Train and motivate workers to increase productivity.
• Resolve day-to-day shop floor issues and maintain discipline.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Supply Chain / Operations / Production Management.
• 5–7 years’ experience in production planning and control (preferably in jewelry, gems, or related manufacturing).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/MIS and production tracking tools.
• Leadership skills to handle multi-department teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
