Production Manager – Kids Garments
Experience
Minimum experience of 3–5 years in kids wear production
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee end-to-end garment production for kidswear, ensuring timely delivery, superior quality, and compliance with safety standards. The role requires strong coordination with cutters, stitchers and production team including overseeing quality control and production quantum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet delivery timelines
- Manage cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing operations
- Ensure quality standards, AQL norms, and kidswear safety compliance (needle policy, trims, prints, chemical safety)
- Handle factory capacity planning and workload distribution
- Manage in-line and final inspections, addressing quality issues proactively
- Lead and train production staff and supervisors
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of kid’s garments (including knitwear and textile)
- Understanding of kidswear safety standards (choking hazards, sharp points, lead-free trims, etc.)
- Expertise in production planning & control (PPC)
- Ability to handle multiple styles and short lead times
- Strong people management and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working with export or domestic kidswear brands
- Hands-on experience in factory production environment
Joining
Immediate / Short notice preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
