Production Supervisor (Baking)

Our Opportunity

The role of the Production Supervisor at Quality Bakers Auckland is an integral member of the Production and Site leadership team with management responsibilities for a high performing Production team and team culture.

The shift pattern available is:

Monday - Friday

Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review short to medium term strategies with the Production Manager
• Develop plans to improve plant performance
• Carry out skill gap analysis and develop strategies
• Deliver high quality finished products by ensuring compliance to all Food Safety Systems are meet
• Ensure fixed cost spend and labour budget spend are delivered
• Ensure global waste targets are achieved
• Manage SHE within the workplace
• Lead Shift Production team
• Coach and mentor direct reports

About You

To be successful in your application, you will have:

• 3+ years manufacturing experience
• Exposure to machinery
• 2+ years people management experience
• Exposure to Quality Assurance and Food Safety Systems
• A great attitude towards health and safety
• Ability to drive performance
• Effective communication skills
• SAP and SHE systems experience (desirable)
• Food manufacturing experience (desirable)
• Baking qualification and experience (desirable)
