Production Team Members:

Term: Permanent – Full Time

Location: Onsite

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Shift / Time: 40 hours per week (4 days X 10 hour day shift OR 5 days X 8 Hour afternoon shift)

Hourly Rate: $20.03 and up

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cooking, inspecting, and packaging our eggs and egg products on a production line for various customers
• Preparing finished products for shipment (e.g. packaging, completing appropriate paperwork, building pallets, etc.)
• Notice the details, and take steps to solve problems, while performing repetitive tasks
• Repetitive lifting of up to 30 lbs.
• Resolve quality issues while demonstrating a high work ethic
• Able to work on flexible shifts with occasional overtime for 40 hours per week
• Work as a team and independently in a food production environment

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of HACCP and GMP’s would be an asset
• Safe food handling procedures and wearing proper PPE

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Previous food processing experience is preferred
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced workplace
• Previous factory or equivalent experience preferred
