We are currently seeking an experienced Production Technician to join our team.
This is a permanent full- time position making up 43 hours per week minimum. Production hours are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 12:00 pm Friday.
Job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assembling large agricultural equipment
- Assembling hydraulic/electrical systems
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to work independently
- Use power tools to assemble components
- Operate a forklift/loader, Overhead/Jib Cranes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect products for defects and report any issues to supervisors to maintain quality standards.
- Trouble shooting issues
- Work collaboratively with coworkers and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Any other duties as assigned
- Ability to follow Health and Safety procedures and guidelines
- Wear all applicable PPE (steel toe footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection)
Experience an asset
Qualifications
- 2- 5 years Mechanical Assembly and Repair experience
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools.
- Previous experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong practical experience in hydraulic and electrical circuits
- Diesel mechanics experience an asset
- Hands on service experience an asset
- Take pride in the quality and consistency in your work
- Proven hands-on troubleshooting skills
