Job Title: Production & Warehouse Associate

Location: Arthur, Illinois

Hours: Mon-Fri 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. (there may be extended hours during peak season)

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

We are a small, fast-paced agricultural seed company seeking a reliable and hardworking Production & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This hands-on position involves a variety of duties related to seed cleaning, packaging, inventory management, and general warehouse operations and deliveries. You’ll play a vital role in helping getting high-quality seed to our customers efficiently and accurately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operate seed cleaning and conditioning equipment (training provided)

· Mix and package seed into bags, boxes, or totes according to work orders

· Accurately label and stack products for storage or shipment

· Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks

· Assist with receiving and storing inbound raw seed and materials

· Fill customer orders and work orders efficiently and accurately

· Assist with delivering orders

· Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies

· Maintain clean and organized warehouse and production areas

· Follow company safety protocols and procedures at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· Must have a valid drivers license

· Previous warehouse, production or ag-related experience a plus

· Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in a physically active role

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Forklift experience preferred (certification can be provided)

· Strong attention to detail and reliability

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

In person position. Typically working in a warehouse environment with varying weather conditions.
