About the role
We are a detail-oriented screen printing and embroidery shop in Mississauga, focused on producing high-quality decorated apparel for a diverse range of clients. We are seeking a skilled production worker with hands-on experience who values craftsmanship and understands that precision and consistency are what distinguish a great shop.
This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a structured production environment with clear expectations, reliable workflows, and a focus on doing things properly rather than rushing through jobs. We believe strong systems, attention to detail, and clear communication create the best outcomes for both our team and our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate screen printing and embroidery equipment to produce garments according to approved artwork and job specifications
- Read and follow work orders, production notes, and job requirements
- Assist with setup and breakdown of screen printing and embroidery jobs
- Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with approved samples
- Identify and communicate any issues or discrepancies early in the process
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations and equipment
- Work independently after training, with support available when needed
- Pack, count, label, and prepare finished orders for pickup or shipping
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in a screen printing and/or embroidery production environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to follow instructions, processes, and checklists
- Proactive and able to manage tasks without constant supervision
- Punctual, reliable, and consistent in attendance
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
Nice to have (not required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with multi-head embroidery machines (Tajima, Barudan, ZSK, or similar)
First 30 days
- Learn our workflows, quality standards, and equipment
- Produce consistent, on-spec work with minimal rework
- Operate equipment independently while maintaining accuracy
- Communicate clearly with the production team
