We are looking for an experienced and reliable Pet Sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for animals, a love of animals, and the ability to provide attentive and compassionate care. Responsibilities include providing daily care for animals in the home, including feeding, exercising, grooming, and cleaning up after them. The successful candidate will also be responsible for administering medication as needed and providing companionship to the pets.

At this time, our ideal candidate will have availability that includes weekends (Friday - Sunday) and holidays. We operate with service hours between 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM 365 days a year and are looking for full-time, part-time, and supplemental ("as needed") availability.

We are looking to add a new member to our growing team!

Must be 18+ years of age, possess a valid U.S. driver's license with reliable personal transportation (must be able to drive yourself from home to home to provide services), and have a smartphone with ability to navigate the application software we utilize for services.

Pet care service provision is more intensive than the average person may realize when thinking of dog walking & pet sitting. Ideal candidates for this position possess the following qualities:

• Passion for working with pets, primarily but not exclusively dogs and cats, including pets with a wide range of behaviors, personalities, and care needs.
• Reliability to get the job done: we provide essential services to living creatures.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment where each day may look different.
• Ability to problem-solve and manage stress while working independently without direct supervision.
• Commitment to a growth mindset in order to advance knowledge and skills for providing safe, quality service through successful completion of our educational new hire training program.
• Enjoy driving: this position entails a considerable amount of time on the road within our service area in all weather conditions.
• Desire to work outdoors, including in hot, cold, rainy, or snowy weather.
• Strong communication skills in order to provide detailed, high quality written reports and photographs to clients after each service.
• Customer service skills to earn clients' trust and satisfaction.
• Comfort working in other people's homes: all pet care services are provided in-home.
• Flexibility with scheduling within your availability.

• Evidence of time management skills to adhere to protocol and policies while providing services independently to ensure safety, well-being, and comfort of pets.
• Availability during peak service demand, which varies—flexible availability for scheduling desired.
• Confident commitment to 6+ months of employment (minimum) due to the investment of training new team members and the benefit of consistent, routine care for pets receiving care services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $16.00 per hour
