Professional Services Director

We are looking for an experienced Director, Professional Services for a team of motivated employees who deliver professional services and complex IT and software projects spread across the Nordics. As the leader of this organization, you will be responsible for driving project revenue, profitability, and customer success. Locus AS part of Enghouse has an extensive portfolio of products. You will be responsible for operational management and P&L for large projects or projects. You will collaborate, work together, and support other departments in managing existing business and winning new customers. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week in the Sandefjord office, reporting to the VP Operations Transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced in establishing best-in-class project governance and project management execution.
• Develop, track and monitor project reporting for burn rate, capacity, utilization, schedule, PM assignments, project risks.
• Work with customer and core team members on master scheduling.
• Effectively coordinate with internal and external stake holders to ensure project expectations, team charter, project budget, project plans and risk registers are prepared, updated, and monitored
• You have an eye for detail, can manage customer expectations, monitor & control scope, reduce project deviations, ensure right solution descriptions, can negotiate well and consistently apply our guidelines in proposals to ensure good results.
• Work with your sales organization to help win deals and lead professional solutions deployment services.
• Work with legal, contracts and finance department to ensure project governance and contractual alignment.
• Think of innovative ways to build solutions and deliver valuable projects for existing as well as new customers. Explore ways to grow revenue organically.
• Track individual project profitability and ensure good business for Enghouse.
• Keep a close eye on staffing and utilization rates and look at ways to improve utilization.
• Focus on team building, revenue recognition, billing milestones and improving lead time for outstanding receivables.
• Regularly report individual projects key KPIs to the management.
• Bring project management best practices to your team and be a strong coach to our project managers.
• Efficiently blend outsourcing, offshore and nearshore models to achieve better efficiency and profitability.
• Work in collaboration with partners to ensure project success.
• You're not afraid to stand in front of key customer stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of senior level experience running professional services business.
• Proven person, business, and thought leadership to be the leader and leader of this business operation. Enghouse's core values represent who you are.
• Highly developed knowledge to understand, visualize and communicate the big picture and work with organizational and operational strategies as well as to understand the financial figures and take proactive actions to meet corporate KPIs.
• Integrity and strong communication skills
• Strong experience of successfully running complex projects
• Preference will be for candidates having PMP or similar project management certifications.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance at the "confidential" level.
• Legally eligible to work in the country without employer sponsorship.
