About the role: (Temporary for up to 12 months)
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Education and Engagement team at Parliament of NSW as the Program Coordinator and Data Officer. The role will provide high level administrative support including processing school bookings, and data analysis for school and public visitations across all programs and events, as well as ensuring the operation of community engagement programs and events are managed seamlessly.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.

About you:

You are familiar with a school booking process and skilled at assisting teachers with their excursion needs. Your attention to detail is demonstrated through your ability to effectively coordinate events and programs. Together with these skills, you appreciate the importance of collecting data and the many opportunities accurate data can provide in our understanding of visitor behaviour.
