Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Program Director to lead the ParentChild+ initiative—a dynamic early childhood development program designed to strengthen parent-child relationships and improve educational outcomes for underserved communities. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for social services, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to empowering families through innovative program management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on vulnerable populations while overseeing program development, staff supervision, and community engagement.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for the supervision of the home visiting program ParentChild+ staff.
  • Supervises and evaluates Early Learning Specialists through home visit records, audio/video recordings, weekly staff meetings, personal conferences, and in-person observations of home visits.
  • Responsible for the evaluation component of the ParentChild+ home visiting program.
  • Plan and monitor the operation of the evidence-based model for the ParentChild+ program.
  • Maintain current standards and protocols that are up to date with all laws and regulations in the state of Florida and make certain that all program operations are within the scope of those laws.
  • Assess program data and develop reports regarding the ParentChild+ model implementation and service delivery.
  • Collaborate and coordinate to achieve the sentinel outcomes established by the Children Services Council of Palm Beach County. By working and establishing partnership with all the programs within the Healthy Beginning System and/or programs available in the community to plan services, identify and resolve problems, and make referrals for ParentChild+ clients.
  • Provide training and education for ParentChild+ program staff.
  • Represent the Guatemalan Maya Center ParentChild+ program at local, regional and national meetings as needed.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the funding agencies. Monitor compliance of the contract and make sure that the goals of the programs are met.
  • Conduct and participate in outreach activities to engage families in the Healthy Beginning System as feasible.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree (Psychology, Sociology, or Early Childhood Education preferred)
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working with children/families
  • Considerable knowledge and understanding of Childhood Development
  • Bilingual required (English-Spanish), trilingual preferred (in any Mayan language)

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
