Amazon is seeking a business-oriented Program Manager for the Multi-use Programs team to provide an operational lens on the planning, integration, scoping and project control for new business lines in our EU Sort Center Network. Suitable candidates will have extensive experience and comprehensive understanding of ATS Sort Centre operational processes to co-ordinate the piloting, scale up, expansion and integration of M3 flows into our Sort Centres. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator, and change leader who excels in communicating across different functions and levels. Key job responsibilities • Own and coordinate multiple new business line programs with a focus on operations integration • Standardize processes, timelines, dependencies for effective program management and governance. • Build mechanisms to identify risk in a sustainable and scalable way, as well as lead the communication with the business and related stakeholders to develop solutions/mitigation. • Communicate project status, drive and elevate decision-making, resolve escalation issues and support requests between the cross-functional teams • Inform strategic plans with Sort Centre operational process insights • Create innovative solutions using data and research to address operational constraints in program design, launch and integration • Take a big-picture approach in analysis of business operations, driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations • Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritize improvement plans, seeing them through from start to finish • Enhance operational performance on every program in partnership with stakeholders A day in the life As Senior Program Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks. Senior Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvement, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion. About the team Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. - MBA or Master’s Degree or other advanced degree in Supply chain, Engineering or related field.
- PMP / Prince certification.
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or similar
- SQL/Tableau/PowerBI knowledge is a strong plus.
- Lean or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
- Relevant experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or operations environment
- Experience in conceptualizing and implementing operational or supply-chain management improvements
