Project HomeWorks assists vulnerable persons and families in Singapore who require support in transforming their homes into safe and sanitary living spaces. As a Programme Executive*, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of Project HomeWorks. Your responsibilities may include assisting homeowners in assessing their home environment and identifying their specific needs, coordinating and facilitating home improvement projects, which may involve a combination of services such as pest control, painting, intensive cleaning, and home organization. You will collaborate with a team of staff and volunteers to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services to homeowners.
*This is an entry-level position.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain strong collaborative partnerships with case referring partners primarily social workers from government agencies and Volunteer welfare Organisations (VWOs)
· Conduct home visits and engage in collaborative problem-solving and co-create effective solutions with homeowners towards their housing challenges
Co-creating solutions with homeowners during home visits
· Volunteer engagement through recruitment, training and motivating a diverse pool of volunteers from all backgrounds to participate in Habitat for Humanity Singapore’s programmes
· Project management
- Oversee project logistics and operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all project activities.
- Documentation and reporting of project details and expenses accurately
Competencies:
· Possesses strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage beneficiaries, volunteers and partners
· A self-motivated and mature individual who thrives in a team environment and demonstrates strong initiative
· Maintains a reasonable level of physical fitness as the role may involve some physically demanding tasks (Eg. Packing and moving logistics)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and email communication
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· Proficient in conversational Mandarin to converse with Mandarin-speaking beneficiaries
· Conversant in a third language (Eg: Dialects, Malay) would be advantageous to converse with dialects or Malay-speaking beneficiaries
· Possession of a valid Class 3/3A driving license is advantageous
· Available to work on some weekends (1-2 Saturdays per month)

Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,300.00 per month
