Project Coordinator – IT Infrastructure in Healthcare Setting
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team, focusing on IT infrastructure projects such as:
- Telecommunications pathways, spaces;
- Technology rooms, e.g., IDF/MDF
- Structured cabling design implementation
- Low-Voltage
in complex healthcare settings, including hospitals. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner, adept at multi-tasking, and passionate about contributing to the successful execution of critical healthcare IT initiatives.

Work closely with IT Infrastructure/Construction Managers and Project Managers to ensure seamless coordination, documentation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires an individual with a strong foundation in IT, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:
- Assist Project Managers in planning, tracking, and reporting project activities from scope development through project closeout.
- Document changes, action items, issues, risks, and decisions (CAIRD) and ensure the accuracy of project schedules and deliverables.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and distribute weekly project status reports and other necessary documentation.
- Draft meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and develop presentations.
- Maintain project-related documents in appropriate repositories, adhering to framework standards and templates.
- Stakeholder Interaction:
- Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
- Coordinate site visits, manage invitations, and oversee procurement activities.
- Framework and Process Improvement:
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of documentation standards, templates, and process frameworks.
- Participate in Enterprise PMO (EPMO) process improvement initiatives to optimize project management practices.
- Project Implementation and Oversight:
- Collaborate on IT infrastructure projects, ensuring that schedules are met and projects are completed within budget.
- Document all design/project changes and testing phases to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in developing project plans and tracking progress, proactively identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management of Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in project coordination, particularly in IT infrastructure or healthcare settings, is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Familiarity with IT systems, structured cabling, telecommunications pathways, and healthcare IT infrastructure is highly desirable.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
