We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator with direct experience in residential construction. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English (verbal and written).Please note: ONLY candidates with proven, transferable experience working for a residential construction company and strong English communication skills will be considered. If you do not have these skill sets, do not apply.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination

  • Build, update, and track project budgets and change orders.
  • Review and interpret architectural, structural, and interior design drawings.
  • Coordinate and schedule trades, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Source and compare quotes, scopes of work, and materials.
  • Purchasing and tracking of client selections and custom items.
  • Conduct occasional site visits for progress and quality checks.
  • Report directly to Project Management on timelines and issues.

Design & Specifications

  • Assist design team with sourcing finishes, fixtures, and hardware.
  • Prepare specification binders and documentation for permits and construction.
  • Obtain pricing and samples and support design presentations.

Office & Administration

  • Coordinate meetings and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Answer and direct calls from clients, trades, and vendors.
  • Maintain project templates, logs, and digital filing systems.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director and management team.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar or exact role in residential construction.
  • Experience limited to only interior design, architecture, or engineering firms does not meet the requirement.
  • Solid understanding of construction drawings and terminology.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail-focused.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office required; experience with Corecon, Sage, Procore, or Buildertrend is an asset.
  • Must live in or near the North Shore Area.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts).
  • In-person position — North Vancouver, BC.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
