David Walsh Civil Engineering Ltd is a family-owned business, providing a wide range of high-quality civil engineering, utility infrastructure and residential construction services and solutions throughout Ireland.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Project Coordinator / Project Manager to work on a variety of residential, civil engineering, infrastructure and utility projects.
This is a full-time, office-based role suited to someone who enjoys being involved across several live projects, working closely with site teams, design teams and management, and helping projects move from planning through to completion.
The role would suit a candidate with strong organisational skills, a good understanding for figures, and an interest in both project delivery and commercial project management.
Preferable Attributes:
- Construction, Engineering or related qualification, or relevant experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
- Experience in residential, civil engineering, utilities or construction would be beneficial.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience with project reporting, programmes, costs, valuations, variations or contract administration would be an advantage.
Main Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the role will be applied based on the experience of the candidate.
- Assist with project coordination, reporting, programme updates and project records.
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, design teams and the wider commercial team.
- Support technical queries, tender reviews, procurement and project submissions.
- Assist with project costs, valuations, variations, payment applications and forecasts where required.
- Support commissioning, Safety File, O&M, BCAR and HSQE project documentation where required.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, site teams and management.

Location:
This is an office-based role at our head office in Castledermot, working closely with our commercial and management teams in a professional and friendly work environment.
