Duties
- Prepare detailed construction estimates utilizing industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis.
- Develop comprehensive project budgets by analyzing drawings, specifications, and bid documents while considering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Lead negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and implement cost control measures to keep projects on track financially and temporally.
- Oversee contract administration by reviewing agreements, ensuring compliance with scope of work, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate on-site activities by collaborating with construction management teams to ensure smooth execution of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating principles, including quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
- Hands-on construction site experience to understand field conditions and project challenges firsthand.
- Expertise in construction management practices including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Excellent project management abilities with the capability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
