Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Estimator / Project Manager to lead the planning, estimating, and execution of construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive project success from initial concept through completion, ensuring accurate cost projections, effective resource management, and seamless coordination across teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with a passion for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Duties
- Prepare detailed construction estimates utilizing industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis.
- Develop comprehensive project budgets by analyzing drawings, specifications, and bid documents while considering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Lead negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and implement cost control measures to keep projects on track financially and temporally.
- Oversee contract administration by reviewing agreements, ensuring compliance with scope of work, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate on-site activities by collaborating with construction management teams to ensure smooth execution of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating principles, including quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
- Hands-on construction site experience to understand field conditions and project challenges firsthand.
- Expertise in construction management practices including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Excellent project management abilities with the capability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
