This position reports to

Senior Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work within the sales support and engineering functions of the E-House & Electrical solution portfolio of the business. The successful candidate will be solution-oriented engineer and love working on complex projects, driving innovative technical solutions to our customers. You will be working with a dynamic sales support team and engineering team, both in electrical and automation disciplines for the offshore solutions business such as FPSO, Wind Offshore, Petrochemicals industries, etc.) The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division of ABB, Singapore. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting the Project Lead Engineer in reviewing the technical documents like GA, SLD, Scheme etc. • Reviewing of Project RFQ documents and understanding the requirements of customers. • Preparing of project system study documents like load flow, short circuit, protection coordination studies • Learning ABB’s product and solutions like HV, MV & LV switchgears, PMS and DCS (800xA) • Learning other electrical products like Transformers, UPS + Batteries, Distribution boards, NGR, Bus -duct etc. • Preparing individual equipment RFQ and liaising with suppliers. • Supporting project bid manager for the preparation of technical & commercial bid in compliance with ABB’s defined sales and bid processes. • Attending customer sites with colleagues and conduct technical presentations and clarifications on ABB solutions

Qualifications for the role

• You are a fresh graduate of Electrical Engineering course in a reputable University
• Ability to demonstrate your passion and drive in learning ABB equipment and Digital platform for monitoring of Electrical assets
• Possess basic or theoretical knowledge different Electrical components or solutions.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic and diversified team of engineers and specialists.
• Driven, self-motivated and keen in learning different functions in the business.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
• You hold work rights in Singapore.
